Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Anush

Birthdate: July 3, 2024

Anush is a very affectionate kitty who loves to come and snuggle on your lap.  She also likes to play with toys and her sisters.  A busy and active girl, she enjoys racing after springs, jumping out of tunnels, climbing cat trees and figuring out interactive toys.  Anush is very lovable and wants to give her people lots of love in return.  Anush was found by a roadside at 5 weeks of age, hungry and in need of care.  There was no mom cat discovered nearby so the 4 sisters were taken to a foster home and cared for until ready for adoption.  Hungry as an orphaned stray,  Anush makes up for it now by being at the front of the line when it’s wet food time!  This pretty torbie girl can be distinguished from her sister Samael by thick black tabby stripes on her front legs.  Anush absolutely loves attention and, after circling your lap for more and more pets, she will finally lay down and sleep.  This friendly kitty would love to be adopted with one of her sisters or another kitty playmate.  Anush is well suited to a family home where she will receive lots of attention.

Adriel

Birthdate: July 3, 2024

This pretty orange tabby girl has lovely soft medium-long fur.   Adriel is a real sweetheart and when she is comfortable with you she just loves attention.  She will come and sit on you and fall asleep in your lap.  Adriel loves to play with her little springs as well as tunnels and ball towers.   Adriel came into our PCON foster program at 5 weeks of age with her 3 sisters.  They were found without a mom cat by a roadside and required extra care in their foster home.  Adriel is all ready for adoption and currently adjusting to the new environment at MKC.  This sweet girl is named after an angel but watch out when it’s wet food time – all 4 angel sisters turn into the wild bunch!  Adriel would love to be adopted with a sister or into a home with another kitty companion.

Cassiel

Birthdate: July 3, 2024

Cassiel is a beautiful medium-long haired calico kitten.  She is a busy and curious girl who likes to come sit on your lap for a few pets and then race off to play.  Cassiel is confident in new situations and ready to lead the way for her sisters to explore a new environment.  She likes to play with toys, climb cat trees and run through tunnels.  Cassiel enjoys wet food time as much as her sisters do.  This pretty calico was found by a roadside with no mom cat at only 5 weeks of age.  She and her 3 sisters were rescued and given extra care in their foster home.   Cassiel has grown into a healthy, active, affectionate kitten who is all ready for adoption.  She is looking to choose her forever family while having fun at MKC.  The lucky adopter of this little beauty will have an intelligent and affectionate little companion as part of their family.

Samael

Birthdate: July 3, 2024

Samael was rescued at 5 weeks of age with her 3 sisters, after they were discovered on their own by the side of a road.  A search for their mom cat was unsuccessful  so the 4 were cared for and raised in a PCON foster home until ready for adoption.  Samael is the quietest of her sisters but when she wants something she will come meowing at you for attention.   She loves to play with toys and race around with her sisters.  Once comfortable with new people, Samael is very affectionate and loves to be petted.  This quiet little girl also turns into a tiger at wet food time!   This lovely kitten is finished all her vet appointments and ready for adoption into her forever home.  Samael would be happy to go to a home with one of her sisters but would also adjust and enjoy living with another kitty playmate in her family.

Sesame

Birthdate: April 7, 2024

Sesame has come such a long way from the terrified kitten rescued from the outdoors & brought into PCON fostercare.  Naturally cautious in new situations, Sesame took a little time to adjust to the environment at MKC after leaving his foster home.  Sesame loves to be petted once he knows you and gets along well with other cats.  While spending time as part of a playful social group of kitties at MKC, Sesame has become more confident and outgoing.  This handsome boy absolutely LOVES his wet food and will follow you around and meow insistently when he thinks it’s overdue.  Sesame needs to be adopted by someone who will be sensitive to the needs of a shy guy and willing to give him time to help him adjust.  Your patience will be rewarded with a loyal and loving pet whose personality will continue to unfold once he is settled into his forever home.  Sesame will be happiest living in a home that includes another friendly kitty companion.

Shanna

Birthdate: April 7, 2024

Shanna was rescued from the outdoors in Port Dover where she & her mom & siblings had been  discovered living under a deck.  Three kittens & their pregnant mom cat, who were at risk from coyotes in the area, were surrendered to PCON.   Shanna was cared for in a foster home with her two brother kittens before coming to MKC all ready for adoption.   Although Shanna can be shy in new situations, she has gradually adjusted to My Kitty Cafe and gets along well with other kitties.   She will come for pets and enjoys attention from visitors as well as playtime with toys and other kitties.  Shanna is best suited to a calm adult home that includes one or more other kitty playmates.  Her brother Sesame is also at MKC and available for adoption.

Daynel

Birthdate: May 15, 2024

PCON Daynel, known as Danny, has lovely soft fur with a very fluffy majestic tail.  He is a beautiful,  “ghost” tabby boy with a smokey grey undercoat and subtle stripes.  This boy definitely has Main Coon ancestry and will be a big kitty when full grown.  Danny is very laid-back and loves to eat, play, cuddle and purr. He was found on his own outdoors and rescued as a very young kitten.  Once old enough for a playmate, Danny joined Nonnah (known as Rascal) in her foster home and the two became very close.  Since then two other solo kittens, Dominion (Minnie) & Maryna also joined the group.  The four are all at MKC to find forever homes.  This handsome little fellow has a beautiful personality and gets along with all his kitty friends.  His best feature is his sad eyes but he is never sad!  Daynel is such a sweet, affectionate, playful and happy boy.  His adopter will be very lucky to have this wonderful kitty join their family.

Nonnah

Birthdate: April 27, 2024

Nonnah’s nickname in her foster home was Rascal and for a good reason!  She loves to play and get into everything! This pretty tuxedo girl was found as a very young solo stray and wasn’t sure at first how to be a kitten.  She soon was joined in her foster home with other solo rescued kittens and has become close to her foster brother Danny (Danyel) and also enjoys playing with her younger foster siblings Minnie and Maryna.  Rascal may act a little shy initially, but this sweet tuxedo warms up quickly to everyone.  She will be cuddly one minute and chasing a ball the next; there is never a dull moment with this beautiful, happy kitty.  Nonnah is all ready for adoption and enjoying her time at MKC while waiting to meet her forever family.

Kaori

Birthdate: May 9, 2024

Kaori was found with her brother, cruelly abandoned at the side of the road when they were just over a month old.  After winning the luck lottery and coming into fostercare, this little girl needed a lot of coaxing to come out of her shell.  She was obviously traumatised but with time and a lot of love, Kaori has come around to being a sociable girl who enjoys cuddling up beside you on the couch to enjoy some pets.  Although she’s a quiet girl, when it is time to play Kaori can be found romping around with the other kittens at top speed.  This gorgeous calico has a sweet personality and will make a great cuddle buddy for her special person.

Chobi

Birthdate: July 13, 2024

Chobi and his siblings were found outside and had likely been there for a while after being dumped.  Yet, despite this rough start, he is a sweet and loving little guy who  loves to play!  While he likes all toys what Chobi really enjoys most is chasing after a spring toy or a crinkle ball!  He can get a tiny bit possessive of his favourite toys and will let out the cutest little growl if another kitty tries to steal one away.  Chobi is easily distracted by treats and is particularly fond of greenies dental treats.  He loves to hang out with his people on the back of the couch and will occasionally groom your hair or try to wrap himself around your neck like a pointy scarf.  Chobi is all ready for a family of his own and would love to be adopted with a sibling or have another young kitty playmate in his forever home.

Yasuko

Birthdate: July 13, 2024

Yasuko, or Yas, is a super friendly and curious little guy who is eager to be the absolute center of your attention.  Given that his start in life was outside and he was found fending for himself, it has been amazing to see him grow from a timid and scared little guy into a confident and affectionate kitty.

Yas loves to play with all sorts of toys and romps around gleefully with his siblings and other kittens.   He is a bit of a treat hound so if you throw a couple on the floor he will perk up and be right there to hoover them up.  Yas loves to spend time with you, whether it be sitting in the recliner watching TV, puttering around the house doing chores, or reading a book in bed.  This purr machine just wants to love and be loved in return.  He’s all ready for a family of his own and would love a kitty playmate in his forever home.

Diver

In Cottage
Birthdate: June 13, 2024

Diver is a handsome black kitten with very shiny fur and a magnificent fluffy tail.  His mom Wistful gave birth to 4 kittens but unfortunately only two survived.  Diver and his brother Flounder were behind in their development initially and have had a lot of challenges to overcome.  As very young kittens the brothers showed symptoms of Swimmers Syndrome but with early intervention this was corrected.  Diver plays well on his own with his toys and also loves to play with his brother.  He enjoys being petted and will snuggle for short periods before running off to play.  Although Diver is still a little squirmy when held, he loves to have his fur brushed.  He also loves his wet food!  Diver and Flounder have had a special bond while being raised together in their foster home; however that may change now that they are at MKC where they will meet new kitty friends.  At this time it would be preferable for Diver and Flounder to be adopted together.

Flounder

In Cottage
Birthdate: June 13, 2024

Although Flounder was almost pure white when born, his fur colours now reveal he has Siamese seal-point ancestry.  As a young kitten he struggled a lot with mobility issues.  He and his brother had a condition known as Swimmers syndrome but with early intervention, they have both  been able to overcome this.  Flounder enjoys playing with his brother Diver and being petted.  He is very talkative when he wants his wet food which he loves!  Flounder has learned to enjoy being picked up and cuddled and even likes belly rubs.  He & his brother Diver had a rough start in life and have gone through all their experiences so far together.  They developed a special bond and would be a lovely pair of kittens to adopt together.

Wistful

In Cottage
Birthdate: May 29, 2023

This pretty young adult tortie cat can be a little timid initially.  She is very sweet & gentle and loves to be petted once she gets to know you.  Wistful gave birth to 4 kittens in her foster home after being surrendered when found outdoors.  It was a difficult birth and only two of Wistful’s babies  survived.  Despite this sad start to life with her foster family, Wistful settled in and was a patient and gentle mom to her kittens, Diver & Flounder.  Wistful’s foster mom has been working to help her feel more comfortable being picked up for short periods and, although she is still a little squirmy, Wistful no longer panics or tries to get away.  She loves attention and comes running over to be petted & purrs like crazy.  Since Wistful’s spay surgery she has been eager to spend more time with the humans in her home.  Although a very quiet kitty who is naturally timid with new people, underneath her shy exterior Wistful is a very affectionate and loving girl.  She got along well with all the other cats in her foster home but is very passive and might allow herself to be bullied if she lived with dominant or aggressive cats.  Wistful is well-suited to a quiet, calm home and will be a lovely kitty companion to her special person.  She could be happy as a solo pet or adjust to another sweet & gentle kitty in her family.

Buzz & Ringo

Birthdate:  7 years old

These bonded brothers are purebred cream/pink Sphynx cats.   When the pair came to our rescue in May 2020 they had not been socialized and were both very frightened and unsure.  Their foster mom worked very patiently with them to help the cats learn to trust and they have gradually become more comfortable and learned to accept and enjoy attention.  The brothers now come for pets and can be picked up for short periods but are not really cuddlers.  They will sit beside you or on you and even roll over on their backs for tummy rubs.  Buzz especially enjoys his tummy being petted & there’s lots of tummy to pet!  He is obese and came that way to PCON.  His brother Ringo is skinny and has a bad eye which may need to be removed in the future.  They like to play with interactive toys and sit on their cat tree by the window and bask in the sun.  A patient home where they will be given time to adjust at their own pace is needed for Buzz & Ringo who are bonded and must remain together.  They get along with other cats as well as dogs in their foster home but mostly like to spend time together on their own.  Sphinx cats require regular washing of their skin to remove oil and cleaning of their ears & nails.  These boys are in urgent need of a foster home as their current foster mom is soon moving out of the country to continue her education abroad.  If you think you could provide a home for this pair please contact Purrfect Companions Cat Rescue immediately!  This could be a foster or foster-to-adopt arrangement.

Rayne
Birthdate: 2020

FIV+

Look at this gorgeous  black panther!  Rayne is an exquisite, black kitty with bright, shiny green eyes.  She loves attention and especially head butts!  Rayne loves her morning treat of wet food but always asks for pets first.  She entertains herself with her favorite catnip toys but will come running for pets and reward you with her constant purr.  She currently lives in a quiet foster home where Rayne enjoys time on her own or with her people.  She was adopted with her sister as a bonded pair of kittens in 2021 and returned last year to our shelter due to urgent medical care needed and not provided by her adopters.  Her sister passed away but Rayne recovered her health after the necessary dental surgery was provided by PCON.  This adult girl tested positive as a kitten for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  As long as she is kept as an indoor cat and provided with healthy food and regular vet care, Rayne can enjoy a happy life just like any other kitty.  Rayne can be adopted  as a solo kitty or can safely live with non-FIV kitties without any risk to them, as long as there is no violent aggressive fighting.  Rayne is a healthy, happy cat, ready for adoption into a home where she will be given all the love and care she deserves, for the rest of her life.  If you would like to meet Rayne for possible adoption, complete the PCON Adoption Application, requesting a Meet & Greet with Rayne.
