Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Sesame
In Cabin
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
Sesame is a little more timid than his siblings, Simax & Shanna, but he is equally as sweet. This shy boy has come such a long way from the terrified kitten rescued from the outdoors & brought into PCON fostercare. It will take a little time for Sesame to adjust to his new environment at MKC. Sesame loves to be petted once he knows you and gets along well with other cats. Spending time with more outgoing kitties at MKC should help his confidence. Sesame needs to be adopted by someone who will be sensitive to the needs of a shy guy and willing to help him adjust. Sesame will be happiest living in a home that includes friendly & playful kitty companions.

Shanna
In Cabin
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
Shanna was rescued from the outdoors in Port Dover where she & her mom & siblings had been discovered living under a deck. Three kittens & their pregnant mom cat, who were at risk from coyotes in the area, were surrendered to PCON. Shanna has been cared for in a foster home with her two brother kittens while preparing for adoption. All three kittens love to play with spring toys and each other. Although Shanna can be shy with new people, she has recently begun to seek attention & come for pets with her foster parents. At MKC Shanna may initially be frightened as it’s such a very different environment from what she’s been used to, but Shanna loves the company of other kitties. Shanna is finished her vetting and needs a loving, safe, indoor home that includes one or more other kitties for company.

Simax
In Cabin
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
This adorable goof-ball looks a little clumsy when he runs because Simax is a CH kitten, which stands for Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as “wobbly kitten” syndrome. This is a neurological condition which affects control of his back legs. When developing in the womb, Simax was affected by a virus caught by his pregnant mom. This friendly boy is the most outgoing of his siblings; he loves pets and will come meowing to ask for them. This sweetheart loves to snuggle with his blanket, climb the cat tree, play with his siblings and cuddle on laps. Being a CH kitten doesn’t slow Simax down, cause him any pain or require any special medication or treatment. All he needs is a loving family who will provide a safe indoor home which incudes another kitty friend.

Lakia
Birthdate: August 26, 2023
Her name means Lucky in Hungarian and this little girl was very lucky to have been rescued from outdoors and cared for in our PCON foster program. Lakia is a lovely young dilute tortie with soft colours & beautiful markings. She & her siblings were rescued last October when found hanging around a lady’s yard without a mama cat. Lakia was initially very shy & needed more socializing time than her more outgoing sister & brother, Leeza & Lajos, both previously adopted at MKC. When she trusts you, Lakia is a very cuddly and affectionate girl who loves to climb cat trees & race around after her toys. She’s become a total lap cat who loves to snuggle and purr away, showing her belly or kneading your lap. Lakia has been fostered with other kitties (recently Kenzia) and gets along well with everyone. Although she can appear shy with new people, Lakia is a very loyal, affectionate & playful kitty with so much love to give her lucky adopter.

Kenzia
Birthdate: March 15, 2024
Kenzia is an adorable little tuxedo kitten who was rescued with her two brothers from the outdoors and surrendered to our rescue in May. Only 8 weeks old at the time, the three were found in Simcoe with no mother cat and have since been raised in a quiet PCON foster home. Despite her difficult start in life, Kenzia is a happy, playful kitten who gets along well with everyone. Once comfortable in a new environment Kenzia shows her sweet & funny personality; she is so playful! If you give her a little crunchie ball she will play fetch with you. Kenzia will race around with other kittens but also loves to cuddle and knead blankets. This sweetheart will make a wonderful addition to a family home and should be adopted with another friendly kitty or into a household that incudes a friendly kitty playmate. Kenzia recently took a break from MKC in a foster home with Lakia. The two have now returned to MKC and are available for adoption.

Mama Mitty

Adoption Applications Closed

In Catio

Birthdate: April 14, 2021
This pretty dilute calico girl
was rescued in April and gave birth to 5 kittens in a PCON foster home a month later. Mitty has been a wonderful mom while caring for her babies and she’s continued to enjoy their company as they grew up, even joining in kitten wrestling matches. Mitty has a constant quiet purr when being petted. This pretty girl knows her name and will come to you for attention. Playful and affectionate, she enjoys attention but isn’t demanding. When on her own, Mitty can amuse herself by chasing her tail, playing with toys and watching what’s going on through a window. This gentle girl was used to adult cats as well as a family dog in her foster home.
Mama Mitty is all ready for adoption into a calm and quiet forever home.

Priella
In Cottage
Birthdate: April 25, 2024
This very loving girl purrs non-stop when she is comfortable and loves to cuddle. Priella may seem a bit standoffish with new people but that’s normal for a Snowshoe Siamese. Priella is very vocal & loves to hear herself talk. She knows when it’s time for her wet food and will tell you! This very sweet girl was born to mom cat Phalyn in a PCON foster home. Priella is all ready for adoption and has finished all her vetting. During her recent spay surgery a second kidney could not be detected by x-rays. Priella can live a long and active life even if she does only have one kidney. Like any pet she requires proper care including regular vet checkups. Priella should also be fed a diet low in phosphorous (no fish). She would love to have the company of another young kitty in her forever home.

Pier
In Cottage
Birthdate: April 25, 2024
This cute black Panther is a loving and affectionate boy. Pier is a busy little kitten who loves to chase after spring toys, climb cat trees and race around with his siblings. Pier LOVES his wet food! Meal time is his favourite part of the day and takes priority over play & even cuddle time. Pier’s mom cat was surrendered when very pregnant & Pier & his siblings were born in a Purrfect Companions foster home 6 days later. Pier has been a happy, easy kitten to care for and is now finished his vet appointments and ready for adoption. This cutie pie will give his family lots of joy in return for a safe & loving home. Pier gets along great with all of his siblings and would be perfect as 1/2 half of a double kitten adoption. Pier would also adjust well in a family that already has a young & friendly kitty in need of a playmate.

Pasha
In Cottage
Birthdate: April 25, 2024
This sweet little tortie is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. Pasha is a “lap cat” who also loves to play with her toys & has no trouble keeping up with the other kittens in their games of wrestle, climb & chase. Like all her siblings, Pasha loves her wet food and will let you know when it’s time to get it ready. Born in a PCON foster home to her friendly mama cat Phalyn, Pasha has come to My Kitty Cafe with her kitty family, all ready for adoption. This sweet little tortie will make a wonderful family pet; she needs another young kitty in her family as a playmate. She would be happy & adjust to her home most easily if adopted with one of her siblings.

Pixar
Adoption Applications Closed
In Cottage

Birthdate: April 25, 2024
This handsome boy definitely has some Siamese ancestry which accounts for his beautiful cream fur and markings. Pixar is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He’s also a very active boy who likes to roughhouse & wrestle with the other kittens. He’s interested in toys but will gladly interrupt his play to come running to eat his wet food. Pixar’s friendly mom kitty Phalyn was discovered pregnant under a deck. She was surrendered to Purrfect companions & her kittens were born in a foster home 6 days later. Pixar is all ready for adoption now and is at MKC with his mom and siblings in order to find a family of his own. Pixar needs another young & active kitty playmate to keep him company in his forever home.

Phalyn
In Cottage
Birthdate: May 1, 2022
This unique looking tabby is a gentle-natured, quiet girl who enjoys attention but isn’t demanding. Phalyn was surrendered to PCON just in time to give birth to her kittens in a foster home. Fed by kind people after they discovered her taking shelter under their porch, Phalyn was cared for until our rescue could make space. This friendly cat is certainly not feral and was most likely a “drop off” kitty abandoned by irresponsible pet owners. Now all ready for adoption, Phalyn is at MKC with 4 of her kittens. This sweet Mama took wonderful care of her babies while raising them and continues to enjoy playtime with the kittens. Phalyn deserves to find a home and family who will love and cherish her for her lovely personality as well as her exotic appearance.

Available To Meet & Greet At A Foster Home

“Momma” Quainte
Birthdate: March 15, 2021
This pretty adult tabby girl has beautiful marble markings on her sides.  Quainte was found as a pregnant stray in Port Rowan in March of 2023 and surrendered to PCON.  Three weeks later she gave birth to 6 kittens in her foster home.  Quainte was a wonderful mom to her babies and, with the help of her foster parent, raised them all until they were old enough for adoption last year.  Momma Quainte continued to live in her first foster home before recently coming to MKC where this shy girl enjoyed visits in the small catio room but felt overwhelmed once she moved out into the main areas.  Quainte is now in a Guelph foster home where she enjoys playing with a variety of toys including those with catnip.  Quainte is very loud when it’s time for dinner and sweet & affectionate once she’s feeling comfortable in her environment.   Momma Q. will be a wonderful pet in a calm and quiet home, once given time to trust and adjust at her own pace.  If you are interested in arranging a meet & greet with Quainte for possible adoption, please contact PCON by email or leave your contact information at My Kitty Cafe.

Rachel
Birthdate: April 20, 2019
This quiet and demure lady loves belly rubs, soft catnip toys, looking out windows & long cat naps. Rachel is a beautiful torbie girl with orange highlights on her tabby coat. She was previously adopted as a young cat from Purrfect Companions and recently surrendered back due to family circumstances. She is currently living in a foster home in Guelph and now that her vaccines have been updated Rachel is ready for adoption into her forever home. Initially reserved, Rachel now loves to zoom around playing with her toys and jumps up on the bed at night for pets. Rachel would likely be happiest as the only cat in the household. If you are interested in meeting Rachel for possible adoption, please submit a request to PCON via email or leave your contact information at My Kitty Cafe.

Casper
Birthdate: July 18, 2023
When Casper was rescued by Purrfect Companions as a young kitten, he came with badly infected eyes. After recovering with the help of his first foster mom, his eyes have a cloudy appearance and there has likely been some decrease in his distance & peripheral vision. Casper can chase a toy around at top speed & climb up & down cat trees with no issues. He has adapted so well, and manages to do everything a young cat needs to do. Casper also arrived at our rescue with a playful and affectionate personality and that has never changed; he’s just such a happy, good-natured boy. With his soft white fur and tan accents, Casper is a mix of domestic short hair & flame point Siamese. This beautiful boy is currently enjoying life in a foster home in Guelph that includes two other male cats and two young teen girls. He adjusted really easily to family life and loves to chase toys, and play with his people and his foster brothers. Casper is more than ready for a forever home and is available for a Meet & Greet with potential adopters.
