Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Hastings
In Cottage
Birthdate: October 4, 2023
Hastings is an adorable and very handsome little tuxedo boy. He is constantly on the move, seaching for new places to explore, or pouncing on his sister, Heidi. Hastings is the master of making circle eights as he rubs up against your ankles! This affectionate kitten enjoys coming for a cuddle before racing off on his next adventure. Hastings loves his food, and his very healthy appetite is so necessary for an active, busy kitten who is full of energy. Hastings was found outdoors in November and, at 5 weeks of age, he and his sister were surrendered to PCON. A female adult cat, believed to be the mother, was later trapped nearby but wanted nothing to do with the kittens. Hastings and Heidi have been raised together by their foster mom in a quiet, calm home and were used to older children. This brother & sister pair are very compatible and would love to be adopted together.

Heidi
In Cottage
Birthdate: October 4, 2023
Heidi is an adorable & petite brown tabby kitten. She was rescued at only 5 weeks of age and was very delicate & tiny on intake. After receiving expert care in her foster home, Heidi has grown into a healthy, active and playful little girl who loves to be picked up & cuddled. This kitten absolutely loves her toys and will play for hours with a stuffy before turning her attention to playtime with her brother. Heidi and her brother Hastings were rescued together with an adult female that was initially believed to be their mom cat, but wanted nothing to do with the kittens. Their foster mom took over the care of both kittens and the siblings have been great company for each other. Heidi has been used to older children in her foster home. Both she and Hastings have now completed all their vetting and would be a perfect pair for a double adoption.

Tella
Birthdate: July 19, 2023
Tella is a petite kitten with shiny black fur and a patch of white. At less than 2 weeks of age, she was rescued safely with her mom & sibling Thorn from a house fire. Since then Tella lived in a Purrfect Companions foster home with lots of other kittens. She’s a social & active kitty who quickly made friends at MKC & has been seen racing around after a spring toy or chasing another kitten up the big tree. With a large number of black cats in residence it’s been hard for visitors to distinguish which little busy black kitty is which. Tella is now going to stand out among the tabbies, including her brother Thorn who is now at MKC. Tella will hopefully meet her own forever family soon. She would make a great addition to a family with older children and needs another playful kitty to help her wear off that kitten energy so that her cuddly side can take over.

Thorn
Birthdate: July 19, 2023
This handsome brown tabby boy has a very unique looking face and is much bigger than his sister Tella. Thorn is a busy, active boy who is super friendly and enjoys lots of attention from the visitors at MKC. This playful boy gets along well with the other kitties and is either full of energy racing around after them at top speed or “out cold” in his favourite napping spot. Thorn enjoys cuddling and will give kisses and climb on your lap for a snuggle. Thorn and Tella were rescued with their mom kitty from a house fire; fortunately none were harmed and the mom cat returned to live with her family. Thorn has been cared for in a PCON foster home with other kitties including his foster sister Brandee as well as his sister Tella. Thorn is always curious and eager to check out new kitty arrivals at MKC but it doesn’t take him long to accept newcomers. Thorn has it all; handsome good looks, a dynamic personality and lots of energy. Thorn would adjust well with another young kitty playmate in his forever home.

Darielle aka Sasha

Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: December 2, 2022
This beautiful medium-long haired tabby is a social & friendly girl who adjusts quickly to new situations.  Named Darielle by PCON, this rescued mama earned the nickname “Sasha” at her foster home.  “Sassy girl” was soon shortened to Sasha, a name she now recognizes & comes to when called.  Sasha loves being petted and having her very soft longer fur brushed.   She enjoys lots of attention but can also amuse herself with toys or just sit watching out a window.  This calm & easy-going young adult gave birth to 6 kittens last summer.  She and her kittens were found on an abandoned  property & cared for by their rescuers until PCON had a placement in our foster program in December.  Sasha lived in her small foster home with other cats and kittens and she especially loved her foster family’s small dog.   Sasha would  be a wonderful choice for an adopter with a friendly cat-loving dog looking for a furry companion.  Four of Sasha’s kittens (Varian, Verlee, Vander & Vallis) recently came to MKC and now it’s mama’s turn to find her own forever home.  This very pretty & extremely good-natured young adult was a wonderful mama to her kittens and is ready for a home & family of her own where she can be totally loved and just a little spoiled.

Brandee
Birthdate: July 18, 2023
Brandee was found as a young stray kitten on her own, hungry, sick and very frightened. She has come a long way in her PCON foster home and is now a healthy girl all ready for adoption. Brandee can be a little cautious in new situations but she enjoys being petted and cuddling once she’s comfortable. This pretty tabby has lived with lots of other foster kittens and got along well with everyone. She started out at MKC in the kitty cottage and is now bravely venturing into the main areas. Brandee likes to play with toys but is happy to just sit back and watch more boisterous kitty play. This shy girl will blossom in her own home with people who can patiently earn her trust and help her to feel safe. There is nothing more rewarding than the love of a shy Rescue kitty. Gentle and sweet Brandee would benefit from another kitty for companionship in her forever home.

Boswell
Birthdate: September 15, 2022
Boswell, aka Boz, left My Kitty Cafe in 2023 temporarily, to stay in a foster home while being treated for an inner ear infection. He’s totally recovered now and feeling better than ever, back at MKC hoping to soon find his forever family. Born as part of a large outdoor colony, Boz survived as a kitten through his first winter living outside, sheltering in unheated farm buildings, fed by the neighbourhood. Since coming into the care of Purrfect Companions, Boz has had obstacles to overcome in order to be ready for adoption. He has one sensitive eye that tends to water but this requires no medications or treatment. This special boy is so distinctive & unique looking with his curly tail & glossy very dark grey and white coat of fur. He has so much more going for him than just good looks; Boswell is a very intelligent boy and the best companion kitty. He just seems to know what you need and is always ready to be there for you. Boz loves to snuggle & curl up on your lap but can also keep himself occupied for hours, looking out the window or playing with his ball tower toy. Boz is very easy-going with other kitties and gets along well in a group but is not dependent on kitty company. This young adult boy just really wants his very own people to love forever.

Kendric
Birthdate: June 14, 2023
Kendric was discovered at 6 months of age as a stray hanging around on a PCON volunteer’s porch. The couple fostered Kendric and he is now finished all his vetting. Kendric loves attention and purrs non-stop when he’s petted. Fostered as a solo kitty, this tabby boy has been eager to make kitty friends but his foster family’s adult cats weren’t that interested in playtime. Kendric did enjoy spending time at his foster home playing with the ball tower toy and sitting in a window hammock looking out at wildlife. At MKC Kendric is having fun with his new kitty friends while waiting to meet his forever family. This very loving boy has the potential to become a cuddly lap cat and was a very well-mannered foster kitty, never jumping on the table or counters. Kendric would be a great choice for a family wanting a friendly kitty playmate to join their current kitten. He also was used to living with his foster family’s cat -friendly dog and would be happy to share space with a canine friend.

Weatherley
In Cabin
Birthdate: June 3, 2023
Weatherly is a handsome boy with very sleek shiny fur and a long slender tail. His foster mom gave him the nickname of Raven and has cared for him, along with other foster kittens, in a quiet home since last August. A lady had discovered two stray adult mom cats along with 5 kittens in a hedge on her property and surrendered them all to Purrfect Companions. Weatherley has now come to My Kitty Cafe with one of the other kittens, Wi-Fi. Although it’s believed they are from different moms, all the kittens rescued at that time were raised together as if they were actual siblings. Weatherley is more curious & playful than his shy & cautious foster sister. Both are very sweet “teen” kittens who are at My Kitty Cafe to find their forever homes. The initial bond between these two will help them adjust to their new environment and may continue to be strengthened. In that case it would be best if Weatherley finds a home with Wi-Fi. However, once comfortable, they may move on and choose to spend their time with new kitty companions. Either way, Weatherley is ready to find his very best match while at MKC with an adopter that will love this special boy & give him all the care and attention he deserves in a safe and loving indoor home.

Wi-fi
In Cabin
Birthdate: May 3, 2023
Wi-Fi is a beautiful “teen” kitten with very soft fur and a very fluffy tail. Although she’s very shy, Wi-Fi does love to be petted. Her foster mom gave her the nickname of Ginger or Miss Gin Gin while in her care. When comfortable, Wi-Fi will lie next to your feet for loving and she likes to talk a bit to you. She still can get a little nervous when held. Wi-Fi can be very playful and is used to having her foster brother Weatherley as a playmate. The two were surrendered to PCON last August by a lady who discovered two female adults and 5 kittens in a hedge on her property. All of the kittens were raised in a quiet foster home together since their rescue and 3 have now been adopted. It’s hoped that coming with her foster brother to MKC will help cautious Wi-Fi feel more confident. If these two develop an even stronger bond while at MKC it’s hoped they can be adopted together. However, foster siblings sometimes move on to find other kitty companions once they are comfortable. What Wi-Fi needs most is to find an adopter willing to do whatever is best to help this cautious girl settle in and learn to trust. Watching the personality of a shy kitty emerge and blossom is an amazing process and a worthwhile reward for your time and patience.

At Foster Home

JollyRancher
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
JollyRancher is one of 5 kittens born to a friendly mom kitty from a cat colony in Delhi near our PCON shelter. He was cared for in a backyard shed for his first month of life, then moved to a PCON foster home with his siblings. Jolly is a playful & healthy kitten who has the sweet and easygoing personality typical of orange boys. He and his brother SugarBaby look very similar but JR is a bit bigger & a tiny bit darker in colour. He also has one freckle on the centre of his nose! Always a curious energetic kitten from the start, Jolly is also very affectionate and loves to be held and will give you kisses while purring away in your arms. He loves to play with toys and his siblings. Jolly would love to be adopted into a forever home with one of his sister or brother kitties.

Sweetart
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
This lovely little dilute torbie girl has very soft fluffy fur. Sweetart is just like her name; 99% sweetness with just a little bit of tart in the mix. This affectionate girl loves attention and will snuggle like a baby in your arms, purring away until she’s ready to take off after her siblings and join playtime. She’s also a chatty girl who will speak up and let you know when she is hungry or wants to play or if asking for a cuddle. Sweetart was born to her friendly colony mom & found by the colony caretakers up in the rafters of a shed where the colony cats come for shelter & a feeding station. The people heard a cry and searched & found a newborn kitten who they immediately reunited with her mom & siblings. Sweetart is petite like her sister BabyRuth but will still rough house with her bigger brothers without fear. She is a speedy racer after spring toys and likes to run through tunnels & climb cat trees. This beauty is all ready for adoption and would be happiest going to her forever home with one of her siblings.

SugarBaby
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
Born to an outdoor colony mom kitty, SugarBaby lived in a shed for his first month of life then moved with 4 siblings into a PCON foster home. He and his brother JollyRancher look almost identical at first glance but Sugar’s soft silky fur is slightly lighter in colour and he is just a little smaller. He is a big suck and loves to be picked up and held like a baby and will give you kisses. He would always race out of his foster room at any chance he could to explore the rest of the house, but would come back on his own to see what he was missing. SugarBaby gets along with all of his siblings and will wrestle and roughhouse with both his brothers but the boys also snuggle together. SB enjoys typical rough and ready kitten play, but underneath he is a sweet & gentle soul who would also be a good match to be adopted with one of his smaller sisters.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Rolo
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
Rolo is the largest of his siblings, a very handsome tabby with soft fluffy grey & cream fur & beautiful facial markings. Rolo is a wonderful combination of tough and tender. He will roughhouse and wrestle & race around the room after his siblings then run to be picked up and melt in your arms. He lovingly & gently strokes your face with his paw while gazing into your eyes then likes to give little kisses. He’s quite the heartthrob! Born to an outdoor colony mama kitty, Rolo spent his first month of life in a backyard shed. He then moved to a PCON foster home where he has loved playing with toys, climbing cat trees and enjoying life with his siblings. Rolo would love to be 1/2 of a double kitten adoption with another of his siblings from the “Candy Crew”.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

BabyRuth
Birthdate: August 14, 2023
This petite little beauty has a bit of grey smoke undercoat beneath her black soft, fluffy fur. Ruthie is a loving & affectionate kitty with a great big purr and a cute raspy little meow. She will call out to you for attention and loves to be cuddled like a baby. Ruthie can go full speed when racing after spring toys and she loves to climb to the top of the cat tree and hide in tunnels. She is a confident girl and enjoys activities with the other kittens but also plays independently. BabyRuth has lots of energy and, despite her small size, she has a very healthy appetite. Born to a friendly mom kitty from a colony in Delhi, Ruth started life in a shed in the yard of a caring couple who provide food & shelter to the colony cats. The mom cat was no longer able to feed the kittens so they were taken into a PCON foster home at 4 weeks of age. Tiny BabyRuth gets along great with all of her siblings and would love to be 1/2 of a double adoption with another.
