Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Orka
Birthdate: August 2, 2022
Orka is a beautiful all black kitty with a sweet & quirky personality. She is fascinated by shadows and can often be found in the back room at MKC focused on playing with her own shadow on the floor. Orka is a clever girl who has no problem keeping herself amused. She enjoys being petted but likes to be the one to decide when and will let you know if she’s not in the mood. Orka was at MKC previously and adopted as a trio with her sister & brother. They were returned to PCON due to the adopter discovering she had allergies to cats. Orka has been a PCON kitty for all of her life as she was born in one of our rescue’s foster homes. This lovely girl is doing well at MKC and gets along with all of the other kitties and has had to adapt to many changes. My Kitty Cafe is currently her home but it is just meant to be a stop on the way to a forever home. Orka is now over a year old and more than ready to finally move on and be adopted into a home of her own. Orka will be an amazing & undemanding companion for a cat-loving person who appreciates her for her interesting personality as well as her stunning good looks.

Boswell
Birthdate: September 15, 2022
Boswell aka Boz is now at MKC with his brother Bradford. These boys have lived together in a PCON foster home since their rescue last March and are the last of our kitties rescued from the Nixon colony. Born in the fall of last year, they survived as kittens through their first winter living outside or sheltering in unheated farm buildings, fed by people in the neighbourhood. Boz has had obstacles to overcome in order to be ready for adoption. Extremely affectionate, sweet and friendly – there were no personality or behaviour problems with any of the Nixon colony kitties. But spending the first months of life outdoors in winter weather takes a toll on any kitten’s health. Boswell is quite bonded with his brother as they spent almost 5 full months in the kitty room of their foster home waiting for Brad’s neuter, eye surgery and testing. Boz loved nothing better than to snuggle with his brother or with his foster mom. He has one sensitive eye that waters from time to time but this clears up quickly with eyedrops. He is also very sensitive to scents ie; kitty deodorizer, air freshener and scented candles and these need to be avoided in his forever home. Boz will be a wonderful addition to a family that will appreciate and love him for his sweet good nature as well as accept responsibility to care for both he and his brother. These two will bring so much joy to their lucky adopters.

Bradford
Birthdate: September 15, 2022
Bradford has come to MKC with his brother Boswell. He was rescued in March after living in an outdoor colony through the first winter of his life. Brad was one of many kittens rescued from the Nixon colony and he and his brother Boswell are the last of that group to find homes. The two are very bonded as they spent almost 5 full months in the kitty room of their foster home while waiting for Brads neuter, eye surgery and testing. Brad is a HUGE love bug and loves to snuggle together with his humans or his brother. Like his brother Boswell, he is also sensitive to scents such as kitty deodorizer, air freshener and scented candles and these should be avoided in his forever home. Brad will keep his new family entertained and endlessly snuggled. As one of the two last kitties from the Nixon colony Brad has been through so many health issues and is just finally now ready for a forever home and family. He and Boz have been through so much together and will be wonderful and special pets for someone looking to adopt a bonded pair together.

Schick
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: May 21, 2023
Schick is a very sweet orange & white kitten. He is affectionate and enjoys pets and back scratches but isn’t demanding and will sit back and allow more outgoing kitties to be the centre of attention. Schick was the only boy in his litter, rescued with his 3 sisters from a barn on the Simcoe fairgrounds where his stray mom had given birth. Schick was cared for in a PCON foster home and came with his siblings to MKC once all ready for adoption. Schick was chosen by a family who met him at MKC and he was adopted with another kitty. Both cats had to be returned to PCON when a family member’s health became seriously affected by allergies. Schick is now getting used to being back at My Kitty Cafe. This sweet & quiet kitty may need time to adjust to new kitty friends, as well as being in a busier environment again. Schick is a lovely boy who will be a wonderful pet once he finds his forever home.

Chaitea
Birthdate: May 10, 2023
Popular kitty Chaitea is back at My Kitty Cafe and looking for his forever family. This friendly boy was adopted at MKC into a home early in November but, due to a family member’s allergies, he has been returned to be available for adoption again. This lap cat likes to be hugged and rewards you with purrs. He also loves toys and will carry them around. Chai is a vocal boy who lets you know how he’s feeling & is always eager for a chat. Chaitea was raised in a PCON foster home with his mom & 4 siblings since his rescue at 3 weeks of age. His foster family had other cats as well as a large & friendly dog. Chai is a confident & outgoing boy who will be a wonderful pet in the right home. He is an active & busy young kitty who would be happiest to be adopted into a home with an equally active kitty playmate.

Regis
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: June 9, 2023
Handsome tabby Regis is a lap cat and a purring machine. This sweet & affectionate boy has been very well socialized in his foster home and will crawl into your lap for pets & cuddles. Regis was found living outside at only a couple of weeks of age, one of 5 siblings with their stray mama. They were fortunately brought into the care of Purrfect Companions Cat Rescue & soon moved into a foster home. Regis gets along well with other kitties and loves to play. Two of his siblings have been adopted from their foster home. Regis, as well as Ralston & Richelle, have now come to MKC to find their own forever families. Regis would love to be adopted with one of his siblings or into a home with another friendly & playful kitty.

Richelle
Birthdate: June 9, 2023
Richelle is a sweet tabby kitten who is a little less demanding of attention than her brothers. She still enjoys pets & likes to be cuddled but can also keep herself amused playing with a toy on her own. This tabby girl was discovered with 4 siblings only a couple of weeks after being born outside. They were surrendered to PCON with their mama cat and cared for in a PCON foster home. Two of the kittens have already been adopted. Richelle has now come to MKC with her brothers Ralston & Regis, to meet her own forever family. She’d be happy to be adopted with one of her brothers or into a family that already includes another kitty companion. Richelle just really needs her very own people to love and care for her.

Comfort
In Cabin
Birthdate: July 5, 2023
This grey & white boy is a little bigger than his sisters. He tends to have sensitive eyes that may need wiping regularly but this doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s such a sweet fellow and loves to sit on your lap and soak up lots of attention. Comfort purrs all day long and loves to play with his toys and his sisters. In his foster home, he was the most adventurous kitten of his litter, always the first to check out a new toy. Found outside with his 4 sisters at only about a month of age, Comfort was rescued and cared for in a quiet PCON foster home. Now he is all ready to find a forever home & family. He was used to spending lots of time with his foster moms calm grandkids as well as his kitty sisters. Most kittens adjust more easily if adopted with a sibling or into a home with another young kitty playmate and Comfort is no exception. He really just needs his very own people to love him unconditionally.

Bundle
In Cabin
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: July 5, 2023
Bundle is the easiest to pick out in this litter of 5, being the only solid grey kitty in the group. She does have a tiny bit of white on her blue/grey fur. This beauty is a happy little girl who loves playing with her toys. Bundle also enjoys pets and will reward you with plenty of purring. She loves playing with her siblings and would be happy to be part of a double adoption with one of the other 4. Bundle was found outdoors at only a month of age and has been raised with her brother and 3 sisters in a PCON foster home. They are all now ready for adoption and have come to MKC together to meet their forever families. Bundle was used to a quiet foster home with lots of attention from her foster mom as well as two grandkids.

Tau
Birthdate: April 5, 2023
Tau is a beautiful little dilute Tortie. This kitten may look like a Princess but she came from very humble beginnings. Tau & her siblings were born in a barn and surrendered with their mom cat to PCON. The little family was cared for in a foster home and initially the kittens were all a little skittish. They eventually really come around with their foster family and two kittens were adopted. Tau & her look-a-like-sister Yanni have now come to MKC and may be a little wary with new people initially. Once they adjust and are comfortable you couldn’t ask for a more compatible pair. Tau loves to be petted & is the perfect mix of playfulness and affection. She & Yanni enjoy chasing each other, playing with toys, and jumping around on their cat trees before settling in for cuddles. It would be ideal to offer this pair a future together which would enable Yanni & Tau to maintain the bond that’s been created over the past 7 months.

Yanni
Birthdate: April 5, 2023
This lovely dilute Tortie kitten was born in a barn and came into fostercare with her mother kitty and 3 other siblings last May. The kittens were all a little skittish initially but came along well with their foster family. Two kittens have already been adopted and now it’s Yanni & her sister Tau’s turn. The two have come to My Kitty Cafe together, hoping to soon meet their forever families as well. Yanni enjoys pets and attention but may need a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment with so many people. She and her sister enjoy playing together and would be a very compatible duo to adopt for anyone seeking a bonded pair. Yanni and Tau love to chase each other and play with toys for hours on end. Yanni also loves to come for cuddles when tired out from playtime. This sweet affectionate kitty is more than ready for a forever home and would adjust best if adopted with her sister.

Foster Home Kitties

Adora
In Foster Home
Birthdate: August 2, 2022
Adora is a sweet & pretty tabby girl born in a PCON foster home to a rescued pregnant stray. As young kittens, Adora and some of her siblings contracted a nasty virus and Adora was affected most severely. As a result, she developed Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition also known as Wobbly kitten syndrome. CH kittens movements are clumsy and off-balance but they don’t experience pain or discomfort or require any medication for this condition. Adora has adapted amazingly and is very capable of chasing, jumping, and catching feather toys, attacking bugs, and much more! Adora is currently in a foster home in Guelph, and loves to talk to her humans. She is quick to tell you when it’s time to play, be petted, or time for dinner. Although Adora can be shy initially, she loves attention from her chosen humans & will flop on her side for scratches while she does a big morning stretch. Adora has lived peacefully with other cats but would be happy as a solo companion kitty in the right home. A Meet & Greet for possible adoption with Adora can be arranged. If you think you could be the special person this amazing kitty has been waiting for, contact My Kitty Cafe.
