Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:

Cayuga
Birthdate: July 14, 2021
This petite black beauty has a little patch of white on her chest, big beautiful golden eyes and very shiny fur. Cayuga was part of an outdoor colony of cats rescued in November 2021. Although Cayuga was the tiniest of that group, she made up for it with her strong personality and was determined to have nothing to do with the humans in her foster home initially. Eventually she learned to very gradually trust her caregivers and her hisses transformed to purrs. It’s been a slow process but with the socializing received from 3 different foster moms, Cayuga finally came last winter to MKC to find a forever home. Cayuga took time to adjust at her own pace to the busy atmosphere and the constant presence of so many people. She is enjoying the younger kitten residents and is really still a kitten herself. Cayuga loves to play and has become confident and more comfortable with visitors during her time at MKC. .Cayuga loves to watch wildlife shows on the tv & also spends time during busy periods up high in the back room with other kitties. Cayuga would like to be adopted with a friend or into a home which already has another friendly kitty playmate. This girl has adapted so far to many changes in her life and I’m confident she will show her true potential when in her own home and be a wonderful pet.

Orka
Birthdate: August 2, 2022
This shiny little black panther is a stunning kitty, sweet and gentle. Orka loves to chase shadows and can often be found in the back room at MKC playing with her own shadow on the floor. This shows that Orka is a clever girl who has no problem keeping herself amused. Orka was at MKC previously and adopted as a trio with her sister & brother. They were returned to PCON due to the adopter discovering she had allergies to cats. This black beauty adjusted well to being a resident at MKC all over again. Orka has been a PCON kitty for all of her life as she was born in one of our rescue’s foster homes. Her stray mom kitty was found with 2 older kittens and already pregnant. Orka was one of 6 kittens born soon after. This lovely girl is doing well at MKC and gets along well with all the other kitties. However, MKC is just a stop on the way to adoption. Orka is now a year old and more than ready to finally move on and be adopted into her forever home.

Salika
Birthdate: March 11, 2022
This petite & lovely young tuxedo girl was rescued as a very pregnant young stray found on the roadside. Less than a week later, Salika gave birth to 4 kittens in a Purrfect Companions foster home. It was obvious that this was her first litter and thankfully, with an experienced foster mom helping, tiny Salika & her premature kittens survived a difficult delivery. Sweet, friendly and affectionate with her foster family, Salika has also been a very caring mama to her babies. Her kittens will soon be ready for adoption & Salika’s mama duties are over. She is a social kitty who loves everyone and is happy to tell you. In addition to being chatty, Salika is a cuddly kitty and we’ve discovered that she can also be very playful. Not much older than a kitten herself, this mama now has time to enjoy playing with toys & exploring her environment. Salika has come to MKC all ready to find her own special home.

Bailey
Birthdate: April 12, 2022
This handsome young tabby boy has a very fluffy & unique tail that he can hold up straight, curved waving in the air, or curl over his back. Bailey is a very special kitty in so many ways and is feeling quite comfortable greeting visitors at MKC. He’s a very chill laid-back fellow who likes watching tv or looking out the window to see what’s going on in the world outside. Bailey was born outdoors to a stray mom cat and raised with his mom & siblings in a PCON foster home from 5 weeks of age. He came to MKC last year with the PCON name Gamble and was adopted in September. Due to unfortunate & unexpected personal circumstances, the adopter was forced to rehome her pets and Bailey was returned to PCON. Bailey was no longer used to hearing his PCON name so at MKC we are using the most recent name he was called. Bailey enjoys playing with the kittens at MKC & likes chasing spring toys or racing up the big tree. He is often found on a couch in the back room, totally relaxed & stretched out, enjoying pets from visitors while he snoozes. Bailey is an amazing kitty with a kind, gentle & easy-going personality and he will be a wonderful companion kitty to his lucky adopter.

Catronia

Birthdate: March 15, 2020
Catronia is a beautiful tortie who arrived at her PCON foster home this past March, just in time for the birth of kittens a few days later. She had been rescued from an outdoor colony with older kittens when already very pregnant. Although she was very frightened initially in her foster home, Catriona was always a gentle girl and a wonderful mama to her babies. She seemed to be so grateful to be living safely inside. An adoring mom to her kittens, Catronia loved to groom them and sleep with them. The personality of this gentle soul is opening up and she will continue to blossom once adopted into her forever home. It’s so heartwarming to hear her purr and see her starting to play. This sweet & lovely young adult girl missed out on being a cherished pet as a kitten and now deserves to enjoy life & and be cared for in a safe & loving home. Catronia has raised her kittens and finished her vetting; she’s at My Kitty Cafe all ready for adoption!

Valoris
Birthdate: April 27, 2023
This handsome tuxedo is a sweet kitten, affectionate and playful. Valoris and his 2 brothers were rescued after being found as strays running down a country road. They were only 8 weeks old, with no mom kitty or home nearby and were most likely dropped off there to get rid of. Valoris was a lap-cat in his foster home; he loved to follow his foster dad around waiting for him to sit down so he could jump on his lap. He lived with other kittens as well as adult cats and got along well with all of them as well as the foster family’s older laid-back dog. Playful Valoris is all ready for adoption and would be happy to be adopted with his brother Vidor or to have another kitty companion in his forever home.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Vidor
Birthdate: April 27, 2023
Vidor has always been the shyer one in his group of 3 brothers. While he may not seek as much attention from people as more outgoing kittens, Vidor does enjoy being petted. This kitty was found running down the middle of a road with his brothers when only 8 weeks old and, like many unwanted kittens, they were probably purposely abandoned there. Without the intervention of our volunteers, Vidor and his brothers wouldn’t have survived. Vidor has been cared for in a PCON foster home which included adult cats and kittens as well as the family’s laid-back older dog. He got along well with all of them. This handsome boy may need a little extra time to adjust to meeting new people at MKC and to show his full personality to visitors. Vidor would love to be adopted with his tuxedo brother Valoris or into a home with another kitty companion.

Excursion
Birthdate: April 20, 2023
Orange kitties are quite often male, but Excursion is a lovely little female kitten. She and her brother Hamish were the “twins” in their group of 8 foster kittens. Playful and affectionate, Excursion loves to snuggle with kittens and humans alike. This sweet girl was born outdoors to a mom kitty dropped off onto a lady’s property when pregnant. Found at 8 weeks of age, Excursion and 7 other kittens were surrendered to Purrfect Companions and raised together in a foster home. Now
most of those kittens have come to MKC together to find their forever families. Excursion would be a wonderful kitty to adopt with her look-a-like brother or another kitten. She would also adjust well in a home that includes another friendly kitty playmate.

Birthdate: April 20, 2023
This affectionate and playful girl loves to chase cat toys and snuggle with the other kittens. Nargeo has been raised in a foster home since coming to Purrfect Companions Cat rescue at approximately 8 weeks of age. Nargeo was born outdoors, one of 8 kittens a lady found on her property in June. Two pregnant mom cats had likely been dropped off, abandoned & left to give birth outside. Nargeo enjoyed life with her foster family and has come to MKC with some of her siblings all ready to find a forever home. She gets along well with adult cats as well as kittens and is very cuddly with people when not busy playing. This happy little kitten will settle into a home more easily if she’s part of a double adoption or if her forever family includes another kitty.

Aviator
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: April 20, 2023
This handsome silver tabby boy is an affectionate kitty who loves to purr. He has beautiful markings on his fur and a long lean physique. Aviator is busy & energetic and loves to play with the toys at MKC and race up and down the cat tree with the other kittens. He was surrendered to PCON at around 8 weeks of age after being found with 7 other kittens on a lady’s property. Two pregnant adult cats were dropped off & left there to have their babies. Once rescued, the kittens enjoyed life together in a foster home. Aviator is a social boy who enjoys attention and gets along well with adult cats as well as kittens. Aviator has been part of a large kitten group in his foster home and would be happiest and continue to develop best if he has a kitty playmate as part of his forever family. At 8 weeks of age, Suleman was surrendered to our Purrfect Companions rescue, one of 8 kittens found in June on a lady’s property. Two pregnant cats had been dropped off & gave birth outdoors. Brought up together in a foster home, the kittens are now all ready for adoption. Suleman is a happy & good-natured boy who gets along well with adult cats as well as other kittens. He recently came to MKC with some of his siblings and is all ready for a forever home. This sweet & playful kitten would be happy to be adopted into a home which includes a kitty companion.

Chaitea
Birthdate: May 10, 2023
Lovely Chaitea is a lap cat who likes to be hugged and rewards you with purrs. She also loves her toys and can be a bit possessive over them and not always willing to share with her siblings. This vocal girl will let them know how she’s feeling! Chaitea and her brother Zenibo are a close pair, often seen cuddling together, or napping side by side in a sunny spot. All 5 siblings get along well and Chai also lived happily with adult cats and the dog in her foster home. Chaitea’s mom Madara was pregnant when abandoned by her owners when they sold their home & moved. The new homeowner found her hiding in the basement where the frightened cat soon gave birth to 5 kittens. They were all surrendered to PCON and lived together in a foster home. Now the kittens are all ready for adoption and at MKC to meet their forever families. Chai will be a wonderful pet and would be happy to be adopted into a home with a kitty playmate.

Schick
In Cottage
Birthdate: May 21, 2023
Schick is an affectionate orange & white kitten. This sweet and playful boy just loves back scratches. When tired out from playing, Schick is happy to be a lap cat. He was the only boy in his litter, rescued with his 3 sisters from an abandoned barn where his stray mom had given birth. The 4 kittens have been living in a PCON foster home since July and have now come to MKC together to find forever homes. Schick loved going up high in the cat tree at his foster home and I’m sure he’ll soon be seen at the top of the big cat tree at My Kitty Cafe. Schick is starting out in the Kitty Cottage at MKC with his 3 sisters.

Kissa
In Cottage
Adoption Applications Closed
Birthdate: May 21, 2023
This lovely long haired calico kitten was social in her foster homes and will probably be the first to greet visitors to the kitty cottage. Kissa purrs constantly, enjoys active play and is always running & jumping. This kitten seems to never sleep
and will need another kitty playmate in her forever home. Kissa’s life began in an abandoned barn where her stray mom cat had given birth to 4 kittens. The kittens were discovered there and rescued by PCON. Kissa has adapted well in fostercare and is ready for adoption. She would prefer to have a kitty playmate in her forever home to keep her from being bored or lonely.

Brea
In Cottage
Birthdate: May 21, 2023
Although this beautiful classic tabby is a shy girl, she does enjoy pets & back scratches. While in her foster home, Brea followed the lead of her siblings, especially her sister Addeleen. Brea can be very playful in the company if other kittens and she is quite a jumper. Brea and her 3 siblings were rescued in July from an abandoned barn where their stray mom had given birth. Brea will take a little time to adjust to the busier environment at MKC. With exposure to more people we hope she will soon feel comfortable and show her full personality. Brea would be happiest to continue living with a sibling or, if adopted on her own, she should have a kitty companion in her forever family.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Addeleen
In Cottage
Birthdate: May 21, 2023
This beautiful medium long-haired calico/tabby is a very sweet & gentle girl. Still a little timid, Addie usually only lets you pet her when she’s eating or tired. She is very cautious and if approached directly will most likely run away. Spending time with many friendly kitties at MKC should help Addeleen gain confidence. Her life began in an abandoned barn where her stray mama cat found shelter and gave birth to 4 kittens. The kittens were rescued when a few months old and lived in a PCON adult only foster home that included other cats, but no dogs or children. MKC may be a big challenge for this shy girl but we are hoping that she will soon adapt to the change in her environment and enjoy playing with the other kitties. Addeleen would adjust best with another kitty in her forever home, either a sibling or another friendly kitty companion will help her confidence.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Ratana
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
Ratana is a wonderful kitten who shows her personality once she gets to know you. When chasing the laser, she’s figured out how it works and looks up to see where the light is coming from. This smart kitty talks a lot and has many different voices, depending on what she wants to tell you. Ratana is an observer; she always knew what was going on inside her foster home as well as outside the window. Ratana has made great strides in fostercare & is a happy girl who loves to play. She’s always running & chasing someone or something and is very bonded with her sister Aylin. These two sisters would be a great pair to adopt together. They were born in a foster home to their stray mom kitty Salika who is also at MKC looking for her own forever home.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Aylin
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
This sweet & petite tuxedo girl was born in a PCON foster home. Her mom Salika was found on the roadside, a friendly & very pregnant stray who gave birth a few days after her rescue. Mom kitty was likely someone’s unspayed pet, abandoned outside who became pregnant when she was still barely more than a kitten herself. Aylin may a take a little time to trust people in a new environment but once she does, this girl is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle and sleep on you. Aylin and her sister Ratana seek each other out and play together constantly. While Aylin looks very much like her brother Raydon, she doesn’t have the shadow tabby markings. Aylin will be a lovely pet in a calm home and she and her sister Ratana are perfect for someone looking to adopt a bonded pair of kittens.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Raydon
Birthdate:May 17, 2023
Raydon is a tuxedo with a surprise! Hidden in his black fur he has shadow/ghost tabby markings. This handsome boy is long & sleek and has the most beautiful eyes. Raydon gets attached to his humans quickly and likes to follow you around until he can sit on your lap. Sweet & loving, he can also be rambunctious. Raydon let’s his outgoing brother Exton be the leader in their games. They are both very bonded playmates and would be a wonderful pair of kittens to adopt together. Raydon and his brother as well as sisters Aylin & Ratana, have come to MKC together. They were born in a PCON foster home to a young pregnant mom rescue, Salika, who is also at MKC. All are ready for adoption.

Purrfect Companions of Norfolk

Exton
Birthdate: May 17, 2023
Exton was born in a PCON foster home and then lived in another foster home with his siblings until all ready for adoption. While fostered, Exton emerged as the leader of the 4 siblings; this boy is smart, brave, funny, sweet & playful. Exton looks most like his mom Salika and he has a white ring around his tail. Exton and his brother Raydon were quite bonded while in their foster home and loved to race around together and roughhouse. Exton also loved the foster family’s adult cats. This beautiful and adaptable kitten will be a great fit for many different kinds of households, especially if he is adopted together with his brother Raydon. Kittens benefit in so many ways from having another young kitty companion in their home. They also adapt to their new home more easily with a buddy.

Foster Home Kitties

Toth
In Foster Home
Birthdate: February 12, 2022
Toth is one one of those cats who is alive solely due to grace of Purrfect Companions.
Back in November 2022 Toth was hit by a car and had two badly fractured rear legs. To even attempt to fix this was going to be costly and would require specialised surgery. After a few surgeries Toth had one leg heal up and lost the other. But there was a complication with the remaining leg as he had a quadriceps muscle contracture which was hindering his effective use of that leg. So Toth started physiotherapy and learned to use a wheelchair too. After several months his foster family started to see a difference. He no longer needed the wheelchair and didn’t drag his leg behind him all the time. Toth is truly a success story! He has overcome so much and he has relearned a lot too. He gets up and down stairs without issue, he can get in and out of a low sided litterbox and can run pretty fast even though he looks a bit funny when he does so. He has figured out how to get up on the sofa and bed using steps and he is just a lovely boy. It is now time for Toth to find his furrever family. Toth is around 18 months old and is still very kittenish. He loves to play and he enjoys laser toys, crinkle toys and cat tunnels. He gets along quite well with other cats and kittens, he is a total chow hound, and he likes to talk to you, especially at meal time or when he thinks you should be paying attention to him. Toth will try to manipulate you and will do things like sit at the bottom of the stairs and let you think his leg is too tired to climb them so you will go pick him up. Do not be fooled!
Toth also uses his teeth to communicate. He does not bite but he will warn you if you are doing something that causes him pain as he does get fatigued easily. Toth would be best adopted into a quiet home with people who will be sensitive to the needs of this special kitty. If you are interested in setting up a Meet & Greet with Toth in his foster home contact MKC for information on next steps.

Adora
At Foster Home
Birthdate: August 2, 2022
Adora is a sweet & pretty tabby girl born in a foster home to a stray mom kitty, rescued with two older kittens and then discovered to be already pregnant. Several of the young kittens contracted a nasty virus and Adora was affected most severely. As a result, she developed Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition also known as Wobbly kitten syndrome. CH kittens movements are clumsy and off-balance but they don’t experience pain or discomfort or require any medication for this condition. Adora adapted well in her Foster home and came to MKC with her sister Mermista who has now been adopted. Adora needed a rest from the busy cafe environment and is currently in a foster home. This sweet & affectionate girl loves to be petted and will nudge you for more when you stop. She gets along well with adult cats but mostly just wants her own special person to snuggle up beside and give her pets. Adora would be best in a calm and quiet home and is a wonderfully sweet and undemanding companion. A meet & greet for possible adoption with Adora can be arranged. Contact MKC for details.
