Here are our kitties at MKC all ready for adoption:
Cardi
Birthdate: May 3, 2024
There’s usually a kitty in every litter who’s known as the shyest one and that’s Cardi. This girl has been very shy since birth but recently has started to come out of her shell. Cardi follows the lead of her siblings and will often snuggle up with her “twin” sister Capree. Cardi is still very timid around humans but is slowly getting better and, in a calm & patient home, she will continue to gain confidence. Although she doesn’t seek attention or voluntarily come for pets, Cardi enjoys pets on her body but is a little nervous if her head is petted. For someone ready for a challenge there is nothing more rewarding than gradually gaining the love and trust of a shy kitty. Cardi should be adopted into a home where she will have the company of another easy-going friendly cat to help her learn to feel more comfortable.

Bermuda
Birthdate: May 3, 2024
Bermuda, with his cute little moustache, has the typical orange boy personality. An affectionate, easy-going purr machine, who loves being petted, he is also very vocal and will tell you what’s on his mind. Bermuda can be a little mischievous and will keep you amused with his antics. Bermuda is one of 5 kittens born to a PCON rescue named MamaMitty. His mom was recently adopted at MKC and now it’s Bermuda’s turn to find a forever home. This friendly fellow gets along well with his brother Bowtie and they’d be a great pair for a double adoption.

Dayjah
Birthdate: May 3, 2024
This beautiful calico kitten was the first born of her litter and will continue to grow into her big feet and likely be a large-sized adult. She was born in a PCON foster home to friendly MamaMitty, recently adopted at MKC. Dayjah was initially a very shy kitten and very clingy with her mama cat, who she resembles. Dayjah now asks for pets, and lets you know she’s happy by purring and wipping her tail back & forth. Dayjah often plays alone with toys but does enjoy racing around with her siblings. It will encourage her to be more outgoing if Dayjah is adopted into a home with a friendly kitty companion.

Capree
Birthdate: May 3, 2024
Capree is a pretty and petite grey tabby kitten, the last born of her litter but always the first to try anything new. Capree is curious and adventurous and gets into mischief, climbs anywhere and everywhere she can. She’s a total lap cat , a purr machine who always sits leaning into your side or on top of you. Capree plays hard with all her siblings even though she is the smallest. This very busy & fearless kitten is the fastest of her siblings, was the first to have opened eyes, the first to walk, the first to climb. She was born in a PCON foster home to MamaMitty, a rescue recently adopted at MKC. Will Capree be the first of Mitty’s kittens to be adopted? This sweet girl will bring so much joy into her forever home and should have a kitty friend as part of her family.
Purrfect Companions of Norfolk
Bowtie
Birthdate: May 3, 2024
When Bowtie sits beside you and stares it means that he wants pets. This cutie chirps & talks only when he’s running around but otherwise communicates through his powerful staring techniques. Bowtie is one of 5 kittens born in a foster home to his rescued mom cat MamaMitty. Bowtie loves chasing games with his brother Bermuda but is a total lap cat when he’s tired out from racing around. A talented climber in his foster home, Bowtie will love the high spots at MKC once he’s graduated from the Kitty Cottage. This active boy needs another kitty playmate to keep him busy and happy in his forever home.

Sesame
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
Sesame is a little more timid than his siblings, Simax & Shanna, but he is equally as sweet. This shy boy has come such a long way from the terrified kitten rescued from the outdoors & brought into PCON fostercare. It is taking a little time for Sesame to adjust to his new environment at MKC. Sesame loves to be petted once he knows you and gets along well with other cats. Spending time with more outgoing kitties at MKC should help his confidence. He loves his wet food and will meow insistently when he thinks it’s overdue. Sesame needs to be adopted by someone who will be sensitive to the needs of a shy guy and willing to help him adjust. Sesame will be happiest living in a home that includes friendly kitty companions.

Shanna
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
Shanna was rescued from the outdoors in Port Dover where she & her mom & siblings had been discovered living under a deck. Three kittens & their pregnant mom cat, who were at risk from coyotes in the area, were surrendered to PCON. Shanna has been cared for in a foster home with her two brother kittens while preparing for adoption. All three kittens love to play with spring toys and each other. Although Shanna can be shy with new people, she has recently graduated into the main areas at MKC and is enjoying the company of all the other kitties. Shanna is finished her vetting and needs a loving, safe, indoor home that includes one or more other kitty playmates.

Simax
Birthdate: April 7, 2024
This adorable goof-ball looks a little clumsy when he runs because Simax is a CH kitten, which stands for Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as “wobbly kitten” syndrome. This is a neurological condition which affects control of his back legs. When developing in the womb, Simax was affected by a virus caught by his pregnant mom. This friendly boy is the most outgoing of his siblings; he loves pets and will come meowing to ask for them. This sweetheart loves to snuggle with his blanket, climb the cat tree, play with his siblings and cuddle on laps. Being a CH kitten doesn’t slow Simax down, cause him any pain or require any special medication or treatment. All he needs is a loving family who will provide a safe indoor home which incudes another kitty friend.

Kayla
Birthdate: May 26, 2024
In Cabin
Kayla started her life as a barn kitten and from there she was surrendered to Purrfect Companions Cat Rescue. Kayla enjoyed life in her foster home with her siblings and, now that her vetting is completed, she is all ready for adoption. This outgoing girl is the first in her group to greet you and say hi. She loves to get lots of pets and snuggles and can spend hours happily cradled in her humans’ arms. Kayla recently developed a very loud purr; her “motor” gets going non-stop whenever she is being petted. Kayla is the social butterfly of her siblings, quickly making new friends with other kitties. Like any young kitten, Kayla needs the companionship of another kitty playmate in her forever home.

Komako
Birthdate: May 26, 2024
In Cabin
Komako and her siblings began life as barn kittens and Purrfect Companions Rescue was contacted to help when a Mom cat was not found. In her PCON foster home, Komako grew into a healthy active girl who is now ready for adoption. This very curious kitty loves to be petted and held by her humans. She’s always the first of her siblings to figure out anything new and enjoys the challenge of puzzle toys. Komako loves playtime with her brothers and sister, particularly with her favourite wand & string toys. This very vocal girl will give you lots of head buts to get your attention and let you know when she wants affection. She would be happiest adopted with a sibling or into a home with another friendly kitty ready to be a playmate.

Kevon
Birthdate: May 26, 2024
In Cabin
Kevon began life in a barn and from there he and his siblings moved to a Purrfect Companions foster home. His group has been given excellent care, are socialized, finished their vetting and all ready for adoption. Kevon is the quiet big brother who loved to snuggle with foster mom and dad after a good meal. He has the loudest purrs, a big heart and loves to play with his siblings and his favourite spring toys. This handsome boy has an awesome beauty mark on his eyebrow, and beautiful white whiskers. A curious kitten who enjoys games of hide and seek with his humans, Kevon’s favourite spot to hide is behind your back. He will make a wonderful family pet and should be adopted with a sibling or another young kitty for company.

Koji
Birthdate: May 26, 2024
In Cabin
Koji and his siblings began life as barn kittens. When the kittens were discovered to be on their own without a mom cat, Purrfect Companions was contacted. After lots of loving care from their foster parents, the siblings grew into healthy, active kittens who are now ready for adoption. Koji loves snuggling into your neck after a good meal, or “making biscuits” while cuddling on your lap. Koji is the “class clown” who was always doing something funny to make his foster parents laugh. This confident kitten loves to try out new things and is a curious boy always ready to explore. This big boy has a big personality to match and will be a wonderful addition to his forever family. Koji would love to be adopted with a sibling or into a home that already has another friendly kitty for company.

Lakia
Birthdate: August 26, 2023
Her name means Lucky in Hungarian and this little girl was very lucky to have been rescued from outdoors and cared for in our PCON foster program. Lakia is a lovely young dilute tortie with soft colours & beautiful markings. She & her siblings were rescued last October when found hanging around a lady’s yard without a mama cat. Lakia was initially very shy & needed more socializing time than her more outgoing sister & brother, Leeza & Lajos, both previously adopted at MKC. When she trusts you, Lakia is a very cuddly and affectionate girl who loves to climb cat trees & race around after her toys. She’s become a total lap cat who loves to snuggle and purr away, showing her belly or kneading your lap. Lakia has been fostered with other kitties (recently Kenzia) and gets along well with everyone. Although she can appear shy with new people, Lakia is a very loyal, affectionate & playful kitty with so much love to give her lucky adopter.

TacoBean
Birthdate: May 10, 2024
TacoBean is a sweet and perfect little angel boy who anyone would be very fortunate to adopt. He was found as a solo kitten outdoors and surrendered to Purrfect Companions to be cared for in a PCON foster home. Taco loves to race around with other kittens but also enjoys playing on his own with his toys. He’s a very easy-going boy and has adapted well to new kitties and new situations. Taco is cuddly and has a sweet soft purr that starts as soon as you look at him. He’s a busy little guy too and has been used to living with adult cats in his foster home until he recently joined two brother kittens, Nakano and Orwin. Taco gets along well with everyone and is all ready for adoption into a safe and loving home where he will be cherished. This young and playful boy should have the company of another young kitty in his forever home.

Nakano
Birthdate: May 4, 2024
Nakano & his brother Orwin were found at around 6 weeks of age outdoors, where it was suspected they were “dumped kittens”. Nakano was very tiny and severely underweight when rescued, but is now a beautiful healthy kitten, with a lean body and soft glossy fur. In a new environment, Nakano may initially be timid but he’s a very friendly boy who craves pets and attention. Nakano may even give you a gentle pat with his paw if he feels that you are ignoring him. Lots of cuddles, pets and active playtime is helping Nakano gain confidence. This affectionate boy needs lots of attention and reassurance that he is loved. Nakano and Orwin get along well with other kitties but are especially attached to each other and would make a wonderful pair for a double adoption. Nakano isn’t used to young children but would enjoy a quiet adult home or one with older kids/teens.
Purrfect Companions of Norfolk
Orwin
Birthdate: May 4, 2024
Orwin is a handsome boy, a little sturdier build than his brother Nakano. When he came into our rescue, Orwin was very tiny and underweight. It was suspected that he and his brother had been abandoned outdoors to starve. No wonder Orwin now loves his food! He also loves racing around with other kitties, will fetch and carry a ball in his mouth and enjoys wrestling and chasing games with Nakano. Orwin also loves to be petted and can’t get enough snuggling time with his humans. He occasionally would give little love bites to get your attention but Orwin is now feeling more secure. This affectionate playful kitten would be a perfect pair with his brother for a double adoption. Orwin would do best in an adult home or one that also includes older children.

Phalyn
Birthday: May 1, 2022
This unique looking tabby is a gentle-natured, quiet girl who enjoys attention but isn’t demanding. Phalyn was surrendered to PCON just in time to give birth to her kittens in a foster home. Fed by kind people after they discovered her taking shelter under their porch, Phalyn was cared for until our rescue could make space. This friendly cat is certainly not feral and was most likely a “drop off” kitty abandoned by irresponsible pet owners. Once all ready for adoption, Phalyn came to MKC with 4 of her kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted and now it’s their Mama’s turn to choose her special person and be cared for and cherished in her own forever home.

Available To Meet & Greet At A Foster Home
“Momma” Quainte
Birthdate: March 15, 2021
This pretty adult tabby girl has beautiful marble markings on her sides. Quainte was found as a pregnant stray in Port Rowan in March of 2023 and surrendered to PCON. Three weeks later she gave birth to 6 kittens in her foster home. Quainte was a wonderful mom to her babies and, with the help of her foster parent, raised them all until they were old enough for adoption last year. Momma Quainte continued to live in her first foster home before recently coming to MKC where this shy girl enjoyed visits in the small catio room but felt overwhelmed once she moved out into the main areas. Quainte is now in a Guelph foster home where she enjoys playing with a variety of toys including those with catnip. Quainte is very loud when it’s time for dinner and sweet & affectionate once she’s feeling comfortable in her environment. Momma Q. will be a wonderful pet in a calm and quiet home, once given time to trust and adjust at her own pace. If you are interested in arranging a meet & greet with Quainte for possible adoption, please contact PCON by email or leave your contact information at My Kitty Cafe.

Rachel
Birthdate: April 20, 2019
This quiet and demure lady loves belly rubs, soft catnip toys, looking out windows & long cat naps. Rachel is a beautiful torbie girl with orange highlights on her tabby coat. She was previously adopted as a young cat from Purrfect Companions and recently surrendered back due to family circumstances. She is currently living in a foster home in Guelph and now that her vaccines have been updated Rachel is ready for adoption into her forever home. Initially reserved, Rachel now loves to zoom around playing with her toys and jumps up on the bed at night for pets. Rachel would likely be happiest as the only cat in the household. If you are interested in meeting Rachel for possible adoption, please submit a request to PCON via email or leave your contact information at My Kitty Cafe.

Casper
Birthdate: July 18, 2023
When Casper was rescued by Purrfect Companions as a young kitten, he came with badly infected eyes. After recovering with the help of his first foster mom, his eyes have a cloudy appearance and there has likely been some decrease in his distance & peripheral vision. Casper can chase a toy around at top speed & climb up & down cat trees with no issues. He has adapted so well, and manages to do everything a young cat needs to do. Casper also arrived at our rescue with a playful and affectionate personality and that has never changed; he’s just such a happy, good-natured boy. With his soft white fur and tan accents, Casper is a mix of domestic short hair & flame point Siamese. This beautiful boy is currently enjoying life in a foster home in Guelph that includes two other male cats and two young teen girls. He adjusted really easily to family life and loves to chase toys, and play with his people and his foster brothers. Casper is more than ready for a forever home and is available for a Meet & Greet with potential adopters.
